Adult Education and distance education are contemporary issues in the world today. They are both types of strategy for educating the citizenry of a country. As strategies for education they have implications for libraries. libraries are considered to have a major
educational responsibility as well as unique services and resources to contribute to the development and maintenance of life-long literacy skills and knowledge.
