This article looks at the progress of the automation of the SACOST Centre Library of the University of Education, Winneba. Brief historical developments ofthe University and the Centre are given. The software being used for the
automation and the various functions it performs are discussed. The problems that have been encountered so far have been raised and possible suggestions made.
